We've been getting spammed again. I previously changed settings so that guests would not be able to post, and now spammers are becomming wise and registering first. So, effective immediately all new accounts will have to be approved by an Admin.

Thought I should post an update since I keep promising to work on this site and get it going again, but I just haven't gotten to it. I think its time that I let everyone know why.

The last few months have been terribly hectic. Dan and I bought a house outside of the city and have been putting lots of our time into everything from unpacking to renovating. Most recently we have been trying to get the third bedroom set up as a nursery. For those of you who don't know, we are expecting a baby in August.

As much as I enjoy my internet hobby, I really just can't find enough time to sit down and do the things I need to do on here or anywhere else for that matter. I do miss everybody, annd I hope that once I start my maternity leave in July I will have time to catch up with all of you. In the meantime, please keep checking in and I will update things here a bit at a time.

Could be a debate I suppose, but it works just fine here for now. If we get an arguement happening i might move it.

I am not a religious person, but even I would like to believe in some form of a heaven. We are on this earth for such a short period of time that without some form of an afterlife, our existence is meaningless. I would like to believe that life is merely a test, a training program perhaps. But to believe even this much leads to more questions than answers.

Truth be told, I'm not sure what I believe. I would like to add more, but would prefer to think it through a bit first.

 Heaven?
« Result #5 on Oct 13, 2007, 11:44am »

We were having this discussion at our local church on sunday and it relli got me thinking...
Do you believe in heaven?
If so, is there a hell?
What do you think heaven would be like?
Who do you think goes to heaven?

I am a christian so would give a viewpoint from that side... Just wondering what your thoughts were...

*BTW: Not sure if this is the right place to put the thread but its not really a debate and wasn't sure where else to put it.*

You say prostitution hurts nobody exept for the people involved, but that is not necesserely true. You brought up the first case yourself. The Children... Any Child should have the right to lead a normal life with 2 parents who are together and stable. (This does not always happen even outside of prostitution but that would be another debate) In general, prostitutues are not really fit to be parents and often a child will grow up either not knowing who is the father or having two parents who dont even know each other. And it may not be the governments job to decide who has kids but childrens welfare is part of what they need to consider and a child who has no "proper" parent is an issue.

Also, family members of the mother could be affected, there have been hundreds of cases of women mainly being disowned because of activities in prostitution and families have been ripped apart.

As well as this, if a child born froma prostitute had no proper parental control, they are more likely to grow up with a lack of dicipline and could cause a lot of problems as they grow up and especially in teen years. Then the government would have to something about it when they start commiting crimes and offences.

I am not saying that every child born of a prostitute will grow up to be a delinquent but it is very rare for one to grow up as a normal child with a good, strong family around them which is important in later life.

Also, a lot of women are not prostitutes because they choose to be but because of lack of money. They are being exploited by men who just want sex and that is definitely wrong and the government should do what they can to stop that.

HAHAHA!
I have escaped from that dirty animal and am back at large. I cut both his noses of and left him at the bottom of ASDA with too many old people on the wall.
I am back and wish to express my views on the stick market... but cant be bothered.
How many times have i told you, i dont use battle tanks... they are made of animals and i dont like that!

I will come to ur vacation now and dip ketchup into the pool in small doses and lap milk to the tune of jingle bells! OR ELSE!

Haha that's right. Most people tend to dislike teh death metuhlz because they can't understand it. I believe Dee said something similar, but I don't listen to really heavy stuff for the lyrics, but for the energy. Regular hard rock and things, I like the lyrics though.
