If your car runs on diesel you can filter used fry oil to be used as fuel.

Has anyone see the new mini scooter out there? I think they look uncomfortable , wonder what the gas mileage is. It would be good to have a solar cell car that one needs to plug in at night time. Waht do you think?

The problem with solar power is that it can only charge to it's full capacity during the day. For those of us who are nightowls that's fine, but I tend to use cars more during the day.

So a good solution would be a portable battery x 2, one for charging at home during the day and one that is charged to be used? Ideally I think it would best that when you are using your car during the day, that the car be charging while it is in use and while it is sitting also. That would require a two step battery, one part on and one part off. When the battery is sitting, it would switch over to the uncharged cell when it is in use it would switch to the fully charged cell, that way one is never without a charged cell.

I know the problem with my cell phone, during long phone calls it loses its power too easily and I lose the call. So I think to economize a car on fuel it would need to use a solar charged 2 step battery charged system supplement by a reservoir of natural gas or vegetable oil as a last resort. Or better yet, a solar cell battery that does not require a full day to charge but only one hour to achieve its maximum charge. Or one that charges with spit. Can you see it now, your solar battery is charged with your spit and you have run out power, so there you are spitting on your car battery (gross) bizarre and funny, What if everyone ran out of charge, there you would be spitting on your car along with a lot of other people. That would mean you would need to carry a lot of chewing gum or whatever makes you generate the wet stuff, okay, that is enough of that, I think I have to spit... :o I am sick...

That would need to be a yet unfounded act of hydroelectricity.
